Quick Weight Loss Tips For Women Biography
Source:- Google.com.pkQuick weight loss tips are something people always ask me about. In this article, I will discuss five healthy ways to lose weight quickly. If you have read any of my other articles, you know that I am more about making permanent healthy lifestyle changes than quick fixes. However, as it turns out, when you make healthy lifestyle changes, you can actually lose weight very quickly. I lost 13 pounds in the first 3 weeks of changing my diet, without starving. Just remember, it probably took you a long time to put the extra weight on, so it will take some time to take it off.
Quick Weight Loss Tips
Quick Weight Loss Tip #1:
Eat natural foods instead of processed foods. That’s right, eat lots of fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and grains. Ideally, eat these in raw and organic form. Not only do these natural foods generally have far less calories than processed foods, but they are also much more digestible and nutrient-rich. So, you can eat a lot of them and still lose weight without starving yourself.
Quick Weight Loss Tip #2:
Eat Plenty of Lean Protein. Foods like wild-caught fish, free range organic chicken, and grass fed, humanely raised beef are excellent sources of protein. Also, healthy vegetarian sources of protein include whole grains like brown rice and quinoa. Nuts, seeds, beans and legumes are also great sources of protein.
Quick Weight Loss Tip #3:
Enjoy healthy fats in your diet. That’s right, there are healthy fats! Just because something has fat in it doesn’t mean it’s bad for you. Likewise, many of these “fat free” processed foods are not only NOT helping you lose weight, but can actually contribute to weight GAIN. Healthy fats can be found in olives and olive oil, coconuts and coconut butter or oil, nuts and organically raised meats and eggs.
Quick Weight Loss Tip #4:
Get active! Up till now, I have mentioned the intake side of the weight -loss equation. However, my advice would not be complete without mentioning exercise. You don’t have to start with crazy-long workouts that you hate. Try taking a long walk or taking up a sport you love. Basketball, racquetball, tennis, or running come to mind. The key is that you want to get your heart rate up and move your body.
Ideally, you should perform “interval” types of exercises on a regular basis. This means ramping up your heart rate to 80%+ of its recommended maximum for short periods of time, followed by rest, and repeating. For example, try sprinting as fast as you can for 50 or 100 yards, resting for a minute and repeating this process 5 or more times. This is a brief workout that will ramp up your metabolism and help you burn more calories, even on days you are not exercising! In fact, this increased metabolic effect can last for up to 3 days, depending on the level of intensity of your exercise; talk about quick weight loss!
Quick Weight Loss Tip #5:
Drink enough water! Your body is 70% water and you need to continually replenish it for optimum health. Drinking lots of water helps flush toxins out of your system. This is especially important if you are following the first 4 recommendations as your body will be working hard to get rid of the toxins stored in that extra fat that you are now burning off. You should have a minimum of 8 glasses of water a day. The guidelines I have seen recommend 9 cups for the average woman and 13 cups for the average man.
While I am on the subject of drinking water, I need to point out what you shouldn’t drink. First of all, caffeine should be kept to a minimum, and preferably only in the form of tea or cacao. Next, sodas are HORRIBLE for you, even the diet ones. Regular soda (12 ounces) contains the equivalent of 8-12 scoops of sugar in it. Diet soda, still contains processed and unhealthy ingredients. Studies suggest that people actually eat more calories after they drink diet soda. Finally, coffee should be minimized or avoided. Coffee is very acidic and can counteract some of the positive benefits of eating fruits and vegetables and can be very upsetting on the stomach.
Well, there you have it! 5 tips for quick weight loss that actually work, with no gimmicks. And notice that I didn’t say anything about calorie counting or diet pills. In fact, the truth is, you can lose all the weight you want over time by adopting a healthy diet and lifestyle as discussed above without starving yourself or going on a fad diet. I never deprive myself of food when I am hungry and my energy level is off the charts.
Try these tips today and see how fast you not only lose that extra weight, but also have more energy on no caffeine than you ever did drinking 3 cups of coffee a day! Not only that, but if you are anything like me, your inflammation will decrease markedly. I feel better now at age 42 than I did 15 years ago – more energy, more strength, more…well! You just can’t imagine how much better you will feel when you take care of yourself. You will NEVER want to go back!
